For campers entering Kindergarten through age 13, Kidcam Summer Day Camp thrives in the heart of Alabama’s Oak Mountain State Park.
Camp Director, Lissa Walker, says, “Kidcam at Oak Mountain is a very unique summer camp. Campers get to utilize the whole park for various activities. During the summer, you can find our campers on the trails exploring, swimming in the lake, visiting the petting farm, paddle boating or at the Wildlife center learning about native birds in Alabama.”
Kidcam offers 10 weeks of summer fun with all the best activities offered at Oak Mountain State Park. Full summer and weekly camp sessions are available online now for registration. Purchase only the weeks you need and build your summer around you!
Our Home Base is the air-conditioned Oak Room near Main Park Office.
Open House Dates
Open Houses are information sessions for parents to learn more about the program, meet the director, see the facility, and ask questions as it relates to summer camp. T-Shirts and merchandise should be purchased through your parent account shopping cart, and will be available for pickup during the May Welcome to Camp Night.
Oak Room near the main office lodge
Tell the Guard Gate that you’re coming to the Open House. No entrance fee necessary.
Daily Shuttle Transportation
We will have morning drop off at a convenient location at the front of the park off of the 119 entrance at the Ranger Station. This will allow parents a more convenient in-and-out when dropping off their campers each morning.
We are working with our transportation team to determine a morning pickup time from the back entrance of the park closer to 280. A pickup time, between 7:45a-8a each morning, will pickup from this entrance.
Afternoon pickups, and aftercare, will all take place from the Oak Room Home Base inside the park.
