St. Matthew's Episcopal School Summer Camp

Summer 2020 Camp Guidelines and Adjustments for Covid-19
Due to limited occupancy during Phase 1 of reopening, Week 1 (June 1-5) is currently full. A waiting list has been established should any parent withdraw. Email camper name, age, and weeks needed to BayouRegion@KidcamCamps.com to be added to the waiting list.
Other weeks are filling up fast. Due to limited occupancy, this year we are only able to guarantee a space for a camper once that week is purchased. The registration fee alone will not guarantee enrollment for a week, tuition for the week must be paid.
Campers will still engage in themed camp activities such as arts and crafts, science, food crafts, group games, relays, and water play. Off-campus field trips are currently on hold until at least Phase 2.
Current state and CDC guidelines will be in place, and will adjust with each phase, or as directed. These protocols currently include:
- Temperature checks at drop-off
- Hand washing upon arrival and frequently throughout the day
- Limited enrollment per site
- Smaller group sizes of 10 or less during Phase 1
- Frequent sanitizing of common areas and surfaces
- 6’ separation during play (to the best extent possible)
- Outdoor, fresh-air games and activities in conjunction with indoor activities.
As restrictions lift per the CDC and state orders, we will adjust accordingly.
