Conveniently located right on the school campus! A great time for all campers ages 3-13! Campers will never stop as they rotate through a variety of activities each week including art/crafts, science, special guests, games, field trips, swimming trips and more! Facilities include air-conditioned rooms for smaller group activities, large space for whole camp gatherings, special guest presentations, talent shows and more! This location also sports a nice gym and playgorund area with pace for games that will keep summer active and fun. High quality staff and fun interactions make this camp rock all summer long! All that’s left to add to the fun is your child! Discounts for sessions! Discounts for siblings for individual weeks! Great hours for working parents…..drop off as early as 7am and aftercare until 6pm!

Hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuiton Covers from 7am – 3pm.
Before Care Drop of as early as 7:00am for no additional fee.
After Care 3-6 p.m. is available for an additional fee. $2/half hour for the first child and $1 per half hour for each additional child with a one hour minimum each day.

Tuition, Fees & Discounts

The following rates will be in effect for the 2018 camp season:

Registration Fee A non-refundable one-time Registration Fee of $50 for the first child and $35 for each additional child. Registration fees are subject to change after April 1st based on the camp enrollment.
Weekly Rate Early Bird Price is $145 per week without discounts prepay discounts. The full rate is $153 per week when paying after Thursday 5pm prior to the week you will attend camp.
Weekly Payment Options Pay online no later than the Thursday at 5pm prior to the week you will attend to get the Early Bird Price.
Discounts Full Summer Sessions and Build-Your-Own Sessions must be purchased and paid by May 9, 2018. These two discounts are not combined. Look below to see how you can SAVE BIG with discounts.

Kidcam offers a 10% discount on tuition when you Build-Your-Own-Session and purchase 3 or more weeks before May 9th.

Kidcam offers a 10% discount on tuition for siblings that are in the same household and attend the same week. Please Note: An additional 10% discount does not apply to siblings when you Build-Your-Own-Session or pay for Full Summer as those options already have discounts built in.

Part-Time Part-time care may be available at some locations on an “as available” basis. Contact the office at to inquire. Please include the location, number and ages of children, days and hours requested.

Food for Thought

Big Buddy has generously provided a grant for Kidcam of Baton Rouge the last 2 summers and we hope it will continue this summer. We believe that it will. If they do – they provide both breakfast and lunch. Campers may always bring their lunch. Campers must bring a waterbottle daily or they will be charged $1.00 per day when they do not arrive with a water bottle and a bottle of water will be provided to them. Snacks for afternoon and aftercare must be purchased for $2.00 per snack or may be brought with the camper.

If Big Buddy does not provide the grant – Campers may bring their lunch or Campers may purchase breakfast, lunch, and snacks at camp using funds from the prepaid food account. Deposit funds, and any charges will be deducted. You may add more funds as needed. Do not add any funds to your prepaid food until closer until the start of summer. We will notify you by email of the grant status closer to summer.
Breakfast: $2.00 includes milk or juice
Lunch: $5.00 meal and drink
Snacks: $2.00 includes a snack and drink.

Registered campers will be notified no later than the week prior to camp if the Big Buddy food grant is not provided. Please remember that the food is provided by Big Buddy. Kidcam cannot control what is brought – it is free and nutritious.

Gear Up for Fun

Gear Kidcam t-shirts are $12 and must be worn to camp daily. Read more on gear below. A KIDCAM camp T-shirt must be worn to camp daily. T-shirts can be purchased for just $12 at our online Camp Store.

Our Camp Store also offers Camp Bags – we recommend the bags as they have a liner to keep the wet swimsuits and towels “wetness” inside the bag!

We also offer Water Bottles while supplies last. It is important to send water with your camper daily! They must stay hydrated!

Newbies Boys and Girls ages 3 – 13. Preschool operates independently for the most part.
Kidets Boys and Girls ages 5-6, and 7-9
Nexters Boys and Girls ages 10-13.

Weekly Themes & Fieldtrips

Weekly Themes Kidcam’s engaging weekly themes are action-packed with activities that promote fun, fitness, friendship, and creativity each week of camp. Weekly schedules & field trips will be posted online and emailed in Newsletters to registered parents a few days before each Monday of camp.
Fieldtrips Campers aged 5-13 will attend off-campus field trips . Field trip costs are included in the weekly tuition. Sometimes campers may bring additional money for field trips, you will be notified in the weekly newsletter during the summer if that is the case for any specific field trip.

Director – Liz Morgan

LizLiz was the director last year at OLOM and also worked most of the holiday camps! She is married and has 2 daughters. During the school year she observes and evaluates preschool programs for quality. She is a wonderful and kind lady and is very excited about spending the summer with your children!

Camper to Counselor Ratio 10:1 With camper safety as the cornerstone of our program, the camp staff consists of adults who are often teachers, outstanding college students and responsible and energetic teenagers. Once hired, the Kidcam staff goes through a training program in preparation for the first day of camp.

Payment Options, Weekly Transfer & Refunds

Payment Options Payment options include paying weekly or in advance for discounts. We accept money orders and all major credit cards. If paying tuition weekly, tuition must be paid no later than 5pm on the Thursday prior to the week you are attending camp in order to get the Early bird price. The full price is $8 additional.
Transfer Weeks Purchased weeks may be transferred to other weeks for a $10 service fee per transfer. Email a transfer request to
Cancelling Weeks If you need to cancel any weeks of summer camp for your child, you may do so prior to May 9 for a $10 service fee by emailing or calling 225-485-6633. The registration fee is not refundable.
Refunds No refunds will be issued after May 9. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Online Account Management Kidcam understands the busy schedules of working families. As a convenience, Kidcam offers an online account management system. Parents can register online, order apparel, set up food accounts, view payment history, track charges such as meal and after-care charges and pay fees online with a credit or debit card at anytime. By logging in to our safe, secure payment site, parents can print payment records as receipt for tax purposes or for your employer’s Dependent Care Reimbursement program. Our Federal tax ID # 42-1546031 and is provided with each payment record.
