The Spirit of Summer

For 46 years, Kidcam Camps has been a part of making summers rock for both kids and families! And this summer is no different. We’re continuing to bring the Spirit of Summer to life by creating memorable moments and lasting relationships all through the power of camp. The word SPIRIT brings to Kidcam summers smiles, purpose, being known, being like Rocky and becoming a rockstar, inspiring greatness and the best of Kidcam traditions.
Each week will have an overarching theme that includes activities, swimming, field trips, as well as designated Kid’s Choice periods where campers have the freedom to incorporate preferred activities from a selection of Arts & Crafts, Sports, STEM, Movement, Cooking, Water Play & more based on each camp’s specific programming.
Giving Campers the freedom to choose their own fun is important since each child marches to the beat of their own drum. With Kid’s Choice from KIDCAM, campers explore new interests or choose to master a skill. When given a choice, campers gain a sense of ownership and empowerment, building skills in decision making, flexibility, patience and problem-solving. This helps build the overall, perfect weekly schedule that campers love, keeps each week a little different, all while everyone enjoys a summer that rocks.

Age Groups

Newbies have boundless energy with uninhibited imaginations. They are ready to experience the world around them, so our age-appropriate activity and learning programs are geared to foster fun and memory-making while celebrating the individuality of each child.
(Campers can start Kidcam at age 4 if they turn age 5 by September 30 of each year. Varies by location)

Our Kidets need a program that can keep up with them. With an emphasis on social interaction, teamwork, creativity and self-expression, the 7-9 year old Kidets are given opportunities to learn, grow and discover themselves, all while having the most awesome summer of their lives.

Campers ages 10-13 have their own ideas, their own identities and a healthy need for independence. We get it. The Nexters program gives these “in-betweeners” adventures that last a summer with a little more choice and independence and full of memories that last a lifetime.
